Bells of course have a function: increasing traffic safety. But why wouldn't they be pretty and handy, too? You could say that a different kind of bell fits to every kind of bicycle.
With your group you are going to design and create an electric bicycle bell. It would be handy if it had different levels of sound. For a children's bike you can come up with lots of ideas. The shape, color and the sound itself are the most important aspects to children. You could also think about a new type of bell for a race bike. Bells on a such a bike should be light, small and handy.
