- You work in pairs.
- Create a list of 5 professions in the sector 'engineering' and 5 for the sector
'health'. Choose professions that appeal to you.
- Try to find people in your own circle of relatives and friends with a profession
that has to do with engineering or health.
- Conduct an interview with someone that works in one of these sectors.
Together with you teacher you decide who you are going to interview. During this
interview try to get as much information as possible about his/her job. Use the
tips for conducting an interview.
- Find additional information on the internet.
This information should enable you to create a profile of the job choses by you. That profile should consist of:
- o What education do you need?
- What skills and qualities should someone have?
- In what kind of environment (company/organisation) does someone work?
- What kind of tasks does he do?
- What do you think of the profession (list your likes and dislikes)
- What would probably be your salary if you carry out this profession
- Add pictures or photos to illustrate your profile
- Every pair prepares a presentation. It must be informative and give a clear
indication of the profession you chose to do research about. Make sure it is an
