It is likely that after your further studies you will end up working in a company. You will notice then that you have cooperate with lots of people. These colleagues will have done different studies and have different backgrounds. They fulfil different functions within the company and are dependent on each other.
In this assignment you are going to work in a similar situation. You will form a company with other students that have different profiles and different "interests" and hobbies.
