To inform you adequately about the upper cycle and to prepare you to share this
information with your parents, together with them you will attend some lessons
about the upper cycle. Every school organises this in their own way. Your teacher
will tell you what you are going to do, and when.

- Class of the student counselor
You attend a lesson by a student counselor. The student counselor will tell you something about the upper cycle. You will be able to ask questions about the upper cycle or the lessons that come with it. - Workshops (for subjects you do not have yet)
You are going to do workshops conducted by teachers that teach in the upper cycle. These workshops are meetings in which you will get acquainted with the various subjects in an active manner, but also with the way subjects are taught in the upper cycle. - During regular subjects
For every subject that does not comprise a workshop, its teacher will give you information during regular hours. Thus the maths teacher will tell you about the difference between maths A and B. - Upper cycle facts

You will be given information about the information evening a few weeks before it actually takes place. The subjects and tasks will be divided among the groups. Together with your teacher it is decided who does what for what evening. Plan for your activities. By using the form: plan of action.
- You work in a group of 3 to 4 students per subject;
- Do research using:
- Interviews with older students, teachers, coordinators, the student counselor;
- Documentation at your own school;
- Information on the internet;
- Every group summarises their information so It fits on 1 A4;
- Every presentation takes between 5 and 10 minutes;
- In order to practice, you are going to present your work to your own class first (dress rehearsal);
- After that you are going to present your work to your parents;
- You can decide for yourself in what way you will present the information. (PowerPoint, website, a play, a poster, etc.)
